DEER AND TURKEY LEASE! This property is an island of great habitat in a sea of agricultural fields and grazed pastures. CRP fields and good looking timber create the the most substantial cover in the area! The property has great access points to slip in and out of property with minimal disturbance. A small pond located inside the timber and a creek running the length of the property provide for constant water sources.
I walked the property in late Jan. 2008. Observed lots of rubs and heavy deer trails. Turkey scratchings and droppings were abundant. This property will hunt big with lots of potential stand sites. A light timber harvest a few years ago has provided for some great thick habitat in the timber with lots of good bedding areas and thickets. Macon County is consistantly one of the top producing counties in Missouri. It has been an antler point restricted county since 2004 which should provide for some older age class bucks.
Good deer and turkey lease located in the northeastern part of Missouri. $1 million in hunting liability insurance coverage included in lease price. Outfitters / Guides must provide their own additional insurance.
