Information: SOUTHERN ILLINOIS OHIO RIVER BOTTOM GROUND. The deer and waterfowl hunter will be happy with this property. It is made up of mostly crop ground with little pockets of trees. These pockets seem to always have deer in them. The ground is covered with deer tracks and some very large ones at that! Several nice rubs along the edges. I can picture this being a hangout for those solitary big bucks. It is also one of only a few places with cover in this area of the bottom. There are plenty of places to put a stand.
This property also has some of the best waterfowl hunting in the area. With a little rain, there is a lot of ponding that goes on and the ducks and geese pile in. Throw out your spread, turn on the mojo's, get down,cover up and get ready. If the river gets out you may need a boat to get to it, but the hunting could be fantastic.
