When I finished evaluating this land, I thought "This will be hard to explian into words what I found and witnessed. Open the photos below and you will see a remarkable Flint Hills property that is a perfect blend of every facet of hunting and fishing, 3 ponds and a stream. Trees and understory vegetation including oak, dogwood, ash, cedar, sumac, buck brush, and plum, it's all here.

This property is 350 acres and nearly 200 acres are wooded, hilly deer and turkey hunting paradise. That's more than half the property! Its secluded travel lanes and heavy understory mixed with mature trees make it a perfect bow hunting property.

There are also three ponds and each are open to fishing. Please note, however, that because the landowner is working very hard to cultivate the natural resources of this land, ALL FISHING IS CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY. Plus, Humboldt Creek, located on the southeast corner of the property, a perfect travel route for deer and other game species.

Regarding deer hunting, Kansas has a proven track record for growing quality deer. Of the top 100 entries of the Pope & Young bow hunting record book, Kansas is number one in the non-typical category and number 2 in the typical category. This property should be no exception.

But, what about turkey hunting? This part of Kansas is unmatched! You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a turkey here! When April dawns in the Flint Hills they seem to be everywhere! I guess that's why you can now harvest seven turkeys per year in this unit (3 Toms in the spring and 4 either sex in the fall). If you've never turkey hunted in this part of Kansas, know that it's addicting!

Because this is a very special opportunity, there are some special considerations.

First, the landowner owner would like to meet the winner bidder before the lease period. If winning bidder is out-of-state, the meeting can take place via telephone.

Second, this lease will be ARCHERY HUNTING ONLY for deer and shotgun or archery for spring turkey (did you know Kansas now has an archery-only season for spring turkey).

Last, this lease is for a maximum 4 hunters. No more than four ID cards will be able given for this property. Check out the pics and you will see that this place is special.

The lease of this special 350 acre property is 12 months and includes hunting of all legal species. Plus we always include $1 million in hunting liability insurance with every lease. This lease is not available commercial use (no outfitters or guide service).
