DEER LEASE AND ALL OTHER LEGAL GAME....Have a great place to hunt all season!!! Don't let the size of this tract or the aerials fool you. The timber is older and taller than indicated by the aerials. The timber was harvested several years ago except for the streamside management zones (SMZ's). The small streams are bordered by older mixed hardwoods and the cutover area now has a dense stand of trees from 6' to 12' feet tall. There is plenty of thick cover surrounded by large tracts of mature timber and the deer love to move from the mature timber to the cover. I have walked over a lot of this tract and have seen numerous deer tracks, bedding areas, trails, and some hog tracks.
****This property needs shooting lanes and the landowner will allow lessee(s) to clear some brush and small trees to open up a reasonable number of shooting lanes. Also, the landowner will allow lessee(s) to clear areas for up to two (2) food plots with each one being approximately 1/2 acre in size and not visible from public road. This property could become a "honey-hole" if lessee(s) add shooting lanes and food plots.****
It is located approximately 5 miles Southwest of Blues Old Stand in an area that is well-known for quality deer hunting. ****Also, local hunters have informed me that there are a lot of turkeys in this part of Bullock County.**** Food and lodging are available in Union Springs or Troy.
Hunting of all legal game is permitted with a maximum of two (2) hunters. A.T.V.'s may be used for hunting related purposes only.
$1 million in recreational hunting liability insurance is included in the lease price. Commercial use is not permitted on this property.
