Information: DEER AND UPLAND BIRD LEASE IN SOUTHERN MINNESOTA. A great tree covered river bed traverses this parcel, with many pinch point for good stand sites. Cover is at a premium in this area of the state known for its fertile crop ground. There are a very high number of deer in this area, with good upland bird and even some turkeys. This farm has an established 7.4 acres in CRP and 9 acres of new CRP being added in 2009. It adds up to about 42 acres of timber and river bed and ~17 acres of CRP.
