Property Description: DEER AND UPLAND BIRD LEASE IN SOUTHERN MINNESOTA. A great tree covered river bed traverses this parcel, with many pinch point for good stand sites. Cover is at a premium in this area of the state known for its fertile crop ground. There are a very high number of deer in this area, with good upland bird and even some turkeys. This farm has an established 7.4 acres in CRP and 9 acres of new CRP being added in 2009. It adds up to about 42 acres of timber and river bed and ~17 acres of CRP.

Up to 6 hunters maximum allowed. ATV use is limited to hunting activites only. Sportsmen must not hinder farming activity or damage crops.

The land is very close to Blue Earth for food and lodging. Also, convenient from either the Twin Cities or DesMoines. $1 million in hunting liability coverage included in lease price. Outfitters / guides must provide their own additional insurance.
