Information: ***DEER,TURKEY LEASE*** All legal game except bobwhite quail.... There are several beaver ponds that attract wood ducks. This property has been managed for wildlife for over 10 years. It has diverse habitat with hardwood creek bottoms, permanent streams and hills with many producing crabapple trees. Also, property has many varieties of oak trees with some of them producing acorns every year. The landowner lives on the property and lessees will find that he is willing to assist in making sure that they enjoy the use of it. Hunters may use 3 shooting houses already set up. Two separate small fields of corn (approximately 1.50 acres in each field) are being grown for wildlife (see photos.) Landowner will plant green plots in the fall of 2009, but does not commit to planting food plots in future years. This will be the responsibility of the hunters beginning in 2010. Improved campsite is available with water, electricity, and septic tank. Limited to 4 hunters and no more than one(1)camper or travel trailer. The travel trailer in the photo is not included in this lease. Use of 4-wheelers or utility vehicles on network of roads for hunting purposes only. Pickup trucks not allowed on roads to prevent soil erosion problems. Hunters are required to use quality deer management to help grow larger bucks. Several restaurants are located in Brundidge with many choices of lodging and food available in Troy, about 10 miles from property. No outfitting or other commercial use is permitted. $1 million in recreational hunting and fishing lease liability insurance is included in lease price.
