Fifty of the 160 acres is in Alfalfa, which deer love and will be planted to corn in 2010 and 2011 and then back to alfalfa for 5 or 6 years. There is also Corn and Soybeans that border the tract so you have all that you need for food plots. About 40 acres is not pastured and the remaining 50 acres of pasture is limited to seven cows, their calves and a bull in the summer months and thus is not over grazed. Limited hunting in the past has produced mature bucks.

Max # of hunters - 4. No commercial use, outfitting is restricted. There are several small towns in the area for food and fuel and a historic bed and breakfast in Castana, 4 miles away. A camper or trailer may be parked on the property during the hunting seasons. If electricity is desired, costs can be discussed with the owner.
