Information: VERY NICE DEER AND TURKEY LEASE IN WABASHA COUNTY!!! Wabasha County is right across the Mississippi River from the famed Buffalo County Wisconsin and in heart of the bluff country of South Eastern Minnesota. This area is home to some excellent trophy deer and great turkey hunting. Also, possibility for pheasant and goose hunting after crops are out.

As you can see from the picture this tract feature rolling terrain with a heavily wooded seasonal creek bed. This tract has about 45 acres of timber, with the remainder crop fields and CRP. This tract also fronts a landlocked 40 acre tract of State of Minnesota land. Access to this tract is parking at the shed at end of township road and walk in.

This hunting land is located about 100 miles from Minneapolis and St Paul, or about 35 miles from Rochester, Minnesota. This tract can be combined with MNSO 0011 - 0017 tracts to save on insurance.

Whitetail tags for non-residents in Minnesota are over the counter and fairly reasonably priced. Turkey tags are by lottery.

This lease allows a maximum of 4 hunters. The landowner asks that sportsmen respect their crops and only trim branches for shooting lanes, no marketable timber to be cut. Vehicles and ATVs must stay off fields; also ATV use is restricted to hunting activities only. Outfitters must provide their own insurance. $1MM of liability insurance included in the lease amount.
