Property Description: BIG BUCK POTENTIAL IN GIBSON COUNTY, INDIANA.
With lots of thick timber and several secluded,thick, "pocket" CRP fields, the stand locations abound on this property. These thick CRP fields are magnets for these deer. They are staging in these before going out to feed in the crop fields.
The Patoka River winds it's way through the timber on the south side of some large crop fields. The deer are feeding in these fields and then going back into the timber to bed in a typical feed/bed pattern. Hunting the edges and transition areas should prove effective on this property.
Turkeys can be found on this property as well.
The waterfowl opportunities may be something to consider as this area gets pounded by migrating geese and ducks. There also are a lot of resident birds due to all the water in the area.
It is the landowners wishes that all game taken on this property must be consumed. If there is unwanted game, sportsman should contact their local "Farmers & Hunters For The Hungry" location to donate their kill or we will put you in contact with someone at the farm that will be available to take it to someone in need. This will be written into the lease.
