Information: DEER AND PHEASANT LEASE! Decent amount of timber and CRP. Deer loaf in CRP and use woods for travel and food sources are crop acres. Hunt deer, turkey, pheasant, and quail close to Omaha and Council Bluffs. This 400 acre farm is broken into two tracts of 285 acres and 115 acres. A nice mix of the CRP, wooded creeks and draws, and corn/soybeans rotation is found on all tracts. The largest tract is a mosaic of corn, soybeans, one mile of wooded creek, and 5 pockets of timber ranging from 4-10 acres each. The 115 acre farm includes 72 acres of CRP, 25 acres of corn, and 18 acres of timber stands. Maximum of 4 hunters, with deer harvest restricted to 12 deer (4 bucks maximum) and 8 turkeys per year.
